I am a graduate with a passionate interest in both the Arts and Media Technology. I believe my National Diploma in Art and Design, specializing in Graphics, has given me the perfect grounding to produce innovative and creative websites. At College I studied photography which now plays a part of my every day life as a hobby. I feel that my time at University studying media technology has broadened my understanding of most aspects of media i.e. Video editing, animation, HTML, audio production and editing, time management, flash and working as a team. At the moment I am building a website promoting my own personal portfolio to demonstrate my capabilities, and producing various websites for certain companies in the hope that this will give me the experience of dealing with clients, working within a time frame, achieving their goals, none of which are too great as I am still keen to learn.

I have just left The Crescent Inn where I have been promoted over a four month period from bar staff, to duty manager, to trainee assistant manager, to assistant manager and finally to manager. During my managerial progression, I have interviewed and trained staff, creating successful rotas ensuring that each member of staff has a consecutive two day break. I have discovered effective ways to motivate and stimulate an array of staff. Within this position and in order to run the bar effectively and efficiently it was important to ensure that staff moral was high, in my opinion this also leads to happy customers.

Amongst my duties I ordered and controlled stock and successfully managed numerous stock takes where everything was accounted for, which previous managers had failed to do. I was able to identify and implement strategies to increase revenue to achieve monthly targets, introducing quizzes and Twitter promotions.

During the summer of my last year at university I was fortunate enough to gain work experience in Gibraltar for a Fiduciary Law firm, updating websites for both London and Zurich offices. I believe this has given me the chance to understand the importance of working in an I T department, within a large company and the different challenges that offers.

I have a good knowledge of Photoshop, Quark Express, Maya, Dreamweaver and other Mac and Windows programs. Another passion and skill is creating my own animation to the point of actually designing and producing my own characters in both 2D and 3D. I am very passionate about Apple also, and recently watched the latest Apple event, their WWDC, where they announced there new software for iPhone and Mac, iOS 7 and OS X Mavericks. I keep up to date with most things Apple related and am trying to teach myself app development, as a result I am a registered developer currently testing iOS 7 and OS X Mavericks.
